During his time as senior partner Lord Gold oversaw the firm's international expansion, notably in relation to the major emerging markets such as the Middle East, the opening of a new office in Spain, the growth of the banking and finance capability and the strengthening of the firm's distinctive 'twin engine', its increasingly integrated disputes and corporate practices.
